About This Game DescriptionGod's Basement is a first-person, narrative-driven, single player horror game. The deeper you explore, the more you remember about your past life, along with the horrors associated with it. Discover the secret to God's Basement and what kind of individuals are sentenced here. Fight the fear seeping into your mind as the horrors of the past come alive through the world around you.StoryYou wake up in a normal, almost monotonous office room, hearing the faint sound of a phone ringing in the next room. The caller is an entity that introduces himself as The Operator, and gives you a set of instructions to follow. The documents around the room imply that you are in the afterlife, a specific version of the afterlife called God's Basement. The Operator keeps instructing you to go deeper and explore the depths of God's Basement, while simultaneously revealing the details of your past life, along with the horrors associated with it. Features - A strong focus on atmospheric tension- Two main environments, a modern office area and a house- Includes puzzles and riddles with varying difficulty- Primarily a "Walking-Simulator"- Emphasizes the unfolding of a story rather than fast paced action-oriented gameplay- Provides an intense psychological horror experienceGameplayGod's Basement doesn't have any complicated mechanics. The game doesn't involve any survival, retaliation or "hide and seek" style gameplay. Atmospheric horror elements are emphasized, along with creepy and borderline disturbing imagery. Most of the events in the game are scripted and straightforward although there are puzzles and riddles to be found. This game follows more of a "Walking-Simulator" style of gameplay than an action oriented one. If you're looking for a fast-paced, action-packed survival horror experience, this game probably won't satisfy that need. If you're looking for a slower-paced, narrative-driven experience that puts a strong emphasis on fear, give this game a try. 7aa9394dea Title: God's BasementGenre: Adventure, IndieDeveloper:ErebusPublisher:ErebusRelease Date: 16 Oct, 2018 God's Basement Download 5kapks erebus god's basement. god's basement code. god's basement steam. god's basement ps4. god of war witches basement. witches basement god of war. god's basement release date. god's basement nj. god's basement light puzzle. oh my god basement jaxx. god's basement monster. god's basement igg. god's basement guide. god's basement ending. god's basement summary. god's basement game plot. god's basement game review. god's basement ending explained. god's basement skidrow. god's basement plot. god's basement walkthrough. god's basement reddit. god's basement *2018*. god of the basement. god's basement synopsis. god's basement philly. god's basement vr. youtube god's basement. god's basement tv tropes. god's basement free download. god's basement game wiki. god's basement jumpscares. god's basement wikipedia. god's basement pc. god's basement demo. god's basement review. god's basement meaning. god's basement music. god's basement explained. god's basement jeu. god's basement update. god's basement red lights. god's basement story. god's basement trailer. god of basement. god's basement descargar. god's basement. god's basement wiki. god's basement test. god's basement gameplay. god's basement wikia. god's basement gra. god's basement spoilers. god's basement engine. god's basement parker house. god's basement game. god's basement download. god's basement game story Excellent story and delightfully horrifying. It is simply a gem.. When I saw the gameplay trailer for this game I was amazed by the detail and atmosphere. A creepy dim-lit office space, something unheard of in horror games. I waited a long time to buy until it went on sale for a price I deemed reasonable. When I first played it the ambience was chilling, the small little "spooks" really got to me, sometimes I would even get scared from my own footsteps lolol. But overall after playing through the game everything was well crafted except for one thing. I didn't expect God's Basement to be a parallel world based on someone's past memories and experiences, I thought it would be a "Haunted House" type of horror, in a way it still is but the "haunted house" centering around someone's memories and life experience was not what I was looking for. What I was looking for is God's Basement to be a represented as a Purgatory but more terrifying, where you would encounter creepy/scary denizens (such as the grandmother) of the this dim light office of god's basement (because for some reason god wants his basement to look like an office space.). But anyways a direct sequel would not be a good idea imo but instead just add more characters into the game with their own memories and experiences. (I know I said above that I don't favor the memories and life experiences represented in God's Basement .) but the game has potential to become something more.P.S. Add more characters don't make another game.. 5/10 and only recommended if it's under $10.A very simple walking simulator with an OK plot and a few puzzles. The plot is interesting although I was able to figure it out well before the big reveal at the end. There are not many puzzles, so don't be looking for a Myst or Soma-like experience. You will need an occasional key or tool, but for the most part, you spend you time walking around, clicking on the few items that you can interact with, and zooming into things that will trigger the next phase of the game. It's not other games since you need to do certain things (even just retrace your steps) to trigger something like a door unlocking. It is mildly scary with a few jump scares, but this game does not have a monster that you must hide from while completing your tasks. You can finish it in under 5 hours, and much of that will be spent walking back and forth. The wandering around and backtracking aspect of the game was annoying to me, as well as the lack of logic in what the triggers were to allow me to proceed. The menu interface is bewildering, and there is no save option, so you have to reach the next chapter in order for progress to be saved. It's an OK use of a few hours of your time, so I would only buy it when it is steeply discounted.. Gods basement was an fun and entertaining descent into madness and horror...and I loved every minute of it! The game play was an anxious and exciting ride! You’ll scare yourself plenty just psyching yourself out between the amazing scripted events as you progress. The ambience is a true stressor and the momentum of the game is a constant build of terror with only brief moments of calm. The story was great and with this game costing less than a new release horror flick it’s definitely worth the money. Remember that the only thing that prevents you from completing the game and discovering the truth is your own fear.. It is an okay game if you like walking simulators and puzzles. Not a whole lot of fun though. I can't recommend it however because I have clipped through objects and fallen off the map 3 times already. And with autosaves, you lose your progress. Maybe if you can get it at 90 percent off it would be okay.. Masterpiece.A film should be made on this.. I really liked this game! The story is paced well and the scares are actually well done. 5.5!. Great game full of challenge, and intrigue. 9/10. Really nice horror/puzzle game with focus on the story.. 1/10 Eggplants. Makes you stack 50 boxes in one level for no goddamn reason. The scariness is minimum. Actually so mad i wrote my first steam review to express my anger.
